Principles of Oncology for Cancer Registry Professionals is a concentrated five-day training program in cancer registry operations and procedures emphasizing accurate data collection methods. The training program includes extensive site-specific, hands-on case coding, abstracting and staging sessions using practice cases that are representative of the many situations registrars may face. more information
 

CTR Exam Preparation Workshop is a 2½-day course specifically designed for the 2008 revised exam content.  This expanded workshop format will include

• Review of the site-specific CS rules for each of the sites that may be tested on the CTR exam

• Review of multiple primary and histology coding rules

• Discussion of the answers for CS case scenario exercises

• Review of Commission on Cancer standards

• Review of cancer statistics and epidemiology

• Review of data presentation and interpretation methods

• A practice CTR test and review of answers
